Special News From The Brooks Young Band
The Brooks Young Band has been added to the June 24th Show at the Casino Ballroom Hamptom Beach NH with Headliner HUEY LEWIS AND THE NEWS. This will be a great double bill so get there early show starts at 8PM. This will be the second time BYB plays the Casino stage, the first being with Blues Icon BB King. No stranger to high profile gigs BYB has been supporting major acts since the release of " Counting Down " featuring the great Johnny A. They will also be doing some new songs not yet recorded.

The Ron Noyes Band will be playing the side stage for the ZZ Top concert on August 27th at Meadowbrook Pavilion in Gillford, NH. The Brooks Young Band will open their Spring - Summer tour April 02,2011 opening for James Cotton at Tupelo Music Hall. This is the second time BYB has joined James Cotton on stage and it is going to be a fantastic show. I had a second so I started thinking that Round Cat Records has done ok since we started 1 1/2 years ago. Our artists have two great guests on their new CDs--Johnny A. on The Brooks Young Band’s “Counting Down" and John Popper on The Ron Noyes Band’s "Dust Bowl Diary." Both of our artists have supported national acts, such as .38 Special, Robert Randolph, Blues Traveler, South Side Johnny, and many more. They have also shared the stage with some of Boston's greats—J. Geils, Brad Whitford, James Montgomery, Gary Hoey, David Hull, Johnny A., and national acts like Robert Randolph, John Popper, Los Lonely Boys, Uptown Horns, and James Cotton. We are doing some artist development with up and coming bands like Best Not Broken and have our eyes on others. Thanks to all the radio people who have been a huge help--Carmelita, Irene Collins, Rita Cary, Lisa Garvey, Bethany Moore, Road Kill, and others, and old friends--Jim Ravagno, Tom Ravagno, Sal Baglio, Oedipus, Duane Ingalls Glasscock, and many more. Last, but certainly not least, the fans who have come to the shows, bought our merchandise and CDs and given their support as only fans can do. The Ron Noyes Band has been added as the support for 38 Special June 9th,2011 at The Hampton Beach Casino. 38 Special with their iconic sound and string of hits like " Hang on Loosely" "Caught Up in You" "Fantasy Girl" "Back where you Belong" and many more will rock the casino to it's rafters.
