Round Cat Records
RNB reach top 30 of 2011 best songs
Round Cat Records would like to congratulate The Ron Noyes Band and Tony Coluccio of Global Media Music on SHELTER making Sirius XM The Pulse top 30 songs of 2011.
The new single produced by Tony Coluccio was included in the rotation on The Pulse by Jim Ryan who liked the song when he heard it and decided to give it a try. Shelter was the only song and RNB the only band in the rotation that was part of an Indie label. So it was a long shot that it would get enough request to keep it in the rotation. We all expected the RNB fans to help but what happened surprised all of us. Shelter started to find an auduience beyond Concord NH, requests and comments were being posted on The Pulses Facebook Page and new fans getting to know The Ron Noyes Band.We got the word that SHELTER had made the top 30 song list for 2011 on Friday December 30th. A Great achievment for a Great Bunch of guys, A Great song and Great Fans. Thank You all for starting 2012 with quite a bang.
I would also like to thank
Scott St.John and Dan Corley for all their time and effort
Round Cat Records year end 2010
Hello all I can not believe another year has gone by so quickly. First I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and Which ever Holiday you celebrate have a blessed one. Round Cat Records has had another good year. So if I may I will praise our accomplishments.
The Ron Noyes Band who currently have a new single "Shelter" which was produced by Tony Coluccio of Global Media Music is now in rotation on Sirius XM The Pulse. It also happens to be the only song on that station who's artist is signed to an Independent Label "RCR" I wish I could take full credit for this accomplishment but in the music business it helps to have friends. This would never have been possible if Dan Corley, Scott St. John and Tony Coluccio did not lend their particular talents and contacts to this cause. Since The song has been on Sirius RNB has gained fans all over the country and other radio stations are picking up the single as well. I can think of no one who deserves success more then The Ron Noyes Band. They just keep playing big and small shows and gaining more and more fans. You can check them out here or go to there web site www.ronnoyesband.com.
The Brooks Young Band is hard at work recording two singles for release this summer. If the rough tracks sound this good wow I cant wait for the finished tracks. BYB picked a good time to go into the studio since playing out in the winter is a bit tough. They do have some good gigs coming up so go check them out. We hope to capitalize on all the great press BYB got over the summer and show everyone else why such amazing headliners like Pat Benatar, Huey Lewis, Robert Randolph and The Great BB King among many others have asked for BYB to support them on some of the best stages in New England. you can check them out here or their web site www.brooksyoungband.com
Round Cat Records over the summer started a new project with an amazing singer Charlotte Locke. I found Charlotte when her A Capella group performed at a friends memorial. Her voice just blew me away so we put Three great musicians around her and something clicked right away. Their first gig at The Dover Brick House impressed and people came away talking about Charlotte Locke the band and their music. We will be going into the studio once the band returns from Europe. I expect great thinks from them. You can check out some of their live music here or visit their web site. www.charlottelocke.com Charlotte Locke makes debutCharlotte Locke made their debut last Friday at the Dover Brick House in Dover NH. The band drew an impressive crowd and delighted them with a mix of covers and original songs. Charlotte sounded just as good as she looked and made the most of the limited stage space. Colin Isotti ( Lead Guitar) showed his impressive style while whipping through some killer solo's Chris Clark (Bass) shows why he was admitted to Berkley in Boston a very talented musician, Chris Meyer (Drums) has great foot and hand speed and pounds the skins like a seasoned pro. If you see Charlotte Locke playing throughout New England stop in and check them out.

So the first thing I noticed about this album when I opened the case was, that there was actually
full song lyrics in it, which is totally awesome cause you almost never see that anymore. I began
to read more of what seemed like this man's mind poured out on paper and with out even
listening to the music, knew I was gonna dig this. I'm not much of a country/folk kind of girl, but
the words where enough to keep me attached. This album also features a track featuring
harmonica genius John Popper of " Blues Traveler " fame. I believe that anyone looking for a
good mix of country/ folk, mixed with great story telling should pick up this album.
